It would seem appropriate that we once more state what our aims and objectives are. They were defined at a committee meeting at the Pitt and Air Force Club on 18th December 1988 and are as set out below: To combine and co-ordinate B24 Liberator groups and squadron associations in Australia in a national organisation in order to be able to co-operate and work together for specific purposes.
These aims have been maintained and we now have the B24 Liberator Memorial Fund Incorporated restoring a B24 at Werribee. Is it appropriate that we adhere to these aims and objectives or should they be reviewed? The committee would be interested in your comments. We now have a mailing list of almost 400. Membership has never been confined to those personnel who flew, serviced or maintained B24 Liberators. Anyone who is interested in Liberators can become a member and be on our mailing list. |
